DATES/EVENTS 2009/2010

October 26, 2009—5^th Grade Cooking Project for Safe Harbor (this project will take place at the home of Mary McMillan from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

November 9-13---50^th Day Canned Food Collection—to be distributed to a local food cupboard in Chester County (collection boxes will be in the lobby of West Bradford)

November 16 & 17, 2009--- Kids Who Care in conjunction with Mrs. Guinta’s Art Club will

paint bowls that will be used for the Empty Bowl Project organized by the Lord’s Pantry in Downingtown (project @ WB following school until 4:30)

December 7 & 8, 2009---session #2 of Empty Bowl Project described above (3:15-4:30 p.m)

January 25, 2010---5^th Grade Cooking Project for Safe Harbor (this project will take place at the home of Mary McMillan from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

February 8-12, 2010---100^th Day Canned Food Collection—to be distributed to a local food cupboard in Chester County (collection boxes will be in the lobby of West Bradford)

February 22 & 23, 2010---Kids Who Care in conjunction with Mrs. Guinta’s Art Club will make Fleece pillow cases. These will be distributed by the ConKerr Cancer Program which provides fresh pillow cases daily to children in Philadelphia area hospitals undergoing treatment for cancer.

Spring 2010---2^nd grade letter writing project (in class project where students write encouraging letters to soldiers overseas.
